Participant Waiver & Release of Liability
– Cascade 2025 –
By purchasing a ticket and attending Cascade 2025, hosted by Headwaters Gatherings LLC, you agree to the following terms:
1. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in Cascade 2025 may include activities such as movement classes, breathwork, somatic practices, nature immersion, and other physically or emotionally activating experiences. I understand that these activities carry inherent risks, including the possibility of physical injury or emotional discomfort. I voluntarily choose to participate and assume full responsibility for my physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
2. Personal Belongings
I understand that Headwaters Gatherings LLC is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings while attending the event.
3. Children & Family
I acknowledge that children attending the event must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times. While childcare and youth programming may be available, I understand that Headwaters Gatherings LLC and its staff or volunteers are not legally responsible for the safety or supervision of children, nor liable for any injuries or incidents involving minors. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the safety and well-being of their children.
4. Health & Medical
I affirm that I am in good health and capable of participating in the event’s activities. I agree to inform facilitators of any medical conditions or concerns as necessary. I understand that emergency medical services may not be readily available at the event site, and I assume full responsibility for my health and safety.
5. Media Release (Optional)
I understand that photography and videography may take place during the event. By attending, I grant permission for Headwaters Gatherings LLC to use my likeness in future promotional materials, unless I notify the organizers in writing prior to the event.
6. Liability Release
I hereby waive, release, and hold harmless Headwaters Gatherings LLC, its directors, facilitators, volunteers, venue partners, and all affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, or demands arising from my participation in the event, including any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the course of the gathering.
7. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Headwaters Gatherings LLC, its officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to my participation in Cascade 2025, including but not limited to any claims for personal injury, property damage, or breach of this agreement.
8. No Refunds or Exchanges
I understand that there will be no refunds of tickets purchased for Cascade 2025 or exchanges for future Headwaters Gathering LLC events.
